Abstract

ABSTRACT ANDROID-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE SERVICE AT PERINGSEWU PUBLIC HOSPITAL By YUNI MAWARNI Pringsewu Public Hospital is a health service institution that provides healthcare services. The services that used in this study were the pediatric specialist and the obstetrics and gynecology specialist polyclinic. The Service time starts from 09.00 to 12.30 WIB from Monday to Saturday with an average number of patients registering 18 people with a service time of about 15 minutes per person. Therefore, It needs a system to maximize health services in those polys. The system is made based on Android by applying the FIFO (First in First Out) queue method in the patient registration process. The FIFO queue method is a queuing method where patients who register first will be served first. System development is using extreme programming which consists of four stages, planning, design, coding, and testing. The application is made by using Android Studio media with the Kotlin programming language. Based on the results of function system testing, the application is run as expected. The application can be used as media for registration queue and patient medical records service. The existence of medical records can be used as a reference for treatment by medical parties and patients. This application also contains information notifications for the next queue number.
