Abstract

This research aims to obtain information to overcome problems at the Saudaraku wholesale shop in Bandar Lampung. This problem includes a lack of supporting tools for stocking goods so that products that were not selling well were left to pile up and scarcity of products most frequently purchased by consumers. This caused losses on unsold and expired goods. Apart from that, it was necessary to optimizing stocking of selling goods to increase purchased quantities of that product. To overcome stock management problems and increase sales it was necessary data management to carried out that can be used to support decisions. This management was carried out Data Mining by using an apriori algorithm to analyze purchasing patterns. The stages of this apriori algorithm include: data cleaning, selecting data attributes to be used, data transformation, extracting data based on support and confidence values, and evaluating pattern obtained. The data used in this research amounted to 685 sales transaction records which produced 9 sales pattern relationships with higher confidence values from 60% and meets the support value of 5%. The results that have been obtained hopes can help Saudaraku wholesalers make decisions for further sales increase.
