Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ef ect of job promotion and work discipline on employee performance at the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) of Bandar Lampung City, with work motivation as a moderating variable. The research method employed a quantitative approach using a survey technique through questionnaires distributed to 60 employees, applying a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regressionand moderated regression analysis (MRA) with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that jobpromotion and work discipline have a positive and significant ef ect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, while work motivation does not function as a moderatingvariable in this relationship. These findings highlight the importance of transparent jobpromotion policies and consistent implementation of work discipline in improving employee performance, while work motivation plays a more independent role without strengtheningthe ef ect of promotion or discipline.
