Abstract
Tourism is a sector that plays a vital role in both regional and national economic development. Its growth contributes significantly to economic expansion, job creation, and the improvement of local community welfare. Tulang Bawang Regency, located in Lampung Province, is an area endowed with abundant natural and cultural resources, holding great potential to be developed into a leading tourism destination. Its diverse landscapes, including lakes, rivers, forests, and coastal areas, serve as unique attractions for nature enthusiasts and adventure travelers. Data collection in this study was conducted through interviews, observations, and literature review. The system development employed the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, encompassing the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing. The system was built using Laravel and MySQL and was evaluated through Black Box Testing. The resulting Web-Based Tourism Destination Information System, as a promotional and information platform for tourism in Tulang Bawang, demonstrated positive impacts on tourism business processes, enhancing accessibility and convenience for users. The system enables users to easily access tourism destination information and supports online booking, eliminating the need for direct on-site visits. It provides recommendations, simplifies the search for tourist attractions, and strengthens tourism appeal, thereby supporting the overall development of the tourism sector in Tulang Bawang Regency.
