Abstract

ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF AN IOT-BASED DIGITAL WEIGHING SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH A CASSAVA UPROOTING DEVICE By: I MADE YUDA DEVAGITA 2111060035 E-mail: madeyuda.2111060035@mail.darmajaya.id Conventional cassava uprooting practices still face several limitations, including low efficiency, high labor requirements, and suboptimal accuracy in harvest measurement. This study developed a cassava uprooting system integrated with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based digital weighing mechanism to provide real-time mass measurement. The system architecture utilized a load cell sensor, an HX711 module, and an ESP32 microcontroller as the central processing unit, complemented by an LCD and the Blynk platform for wireless data transmission. Performance evaluation demonstrated that the system was capable of producing precise measurement data with high stability across various load conditions. Data transmission was fast and consistent, thereby effectively supporting remote monitoring. These findings confirm that the implementation of lot technology can enhance the operational efficiency of cassava harvesting processes and improve the accuracy and quality of harvest data recording.
