Abstract

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT CV. EGAO OFFICIAL GROUP METRO By: FIRMAN RAMADHAN 2312119022P This study aims to examine the effect of compensation on employee performance at CV. Egao Official Group Metro. The research used a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 employees, representing the entire population as a full sample. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing was conducted through the t-test. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This finding was supported by a t-test significance value of 0.000 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.911. The regression equation obtained was Y 12.031+0.911X, indicating that each increase in compensation led to an increase in employee performance by 0.911 units. The study concluded that compensation is an important factor in improving employee performance at CV. Egao Official Group Metro. The company is advised to enhance its compensation system, including allowances and bonuses, to further improve overall employee performance. Keywords: Compensation, Employee Performance
