Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, public ownership, foreign ownership, independent commissioners, audit committee and changes in KAP on bank performance. The data in this study use secondary data on state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2009-2018 period. The financial statements are obtained from the official website of non-financial companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange via the internet, www.idx.co.id. This research was conducted using descriptive statistics, data and multiple linear regression with a 95% confidence level. The results show that there is an effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent commissioners, and audit committees on the performance of state-owned banks listed on the IDX. Meanwhile, there is no effect of public ownership, foreign ownership, changes in KAP on the performance of state-owned banks listed on the IDX.
