Abstract

THE EFFECT OF GROWTH OPPORTUNITY, CAPITAL EXPENDITURE, AND OPERATING COST ON INVESTMENT DECISIONS By: ARNUM RIZKY CHOIRUNNISA 1712120118 ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find empirically the Effect of Growth Opportunity, Capital Expenditure, and Operating Costs on the Investment Decisions. This study consisted of three independent variables tested, namely Growth Opportunity, Capital Expanditure, and Operating Cost, and one dependent variable, namely Investment Decision. The population of this study was the LQ45 Index Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling, in order to obtain the sample of 24 companies. This study was conducted in 2017-2019 so that the data obtained in this study were 72 data. The analytical method used the multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 20.0. The result of this study found that Growth Opportunity had a significant effect on the Investment Decisions, and Capital Expanditure had a significant effect on the Investment Decisions. Meanwhile, Operating Cost did not have a significant effect on the Investment Decisions. Keywords: Growth Opportunity, Capital Expanditure, Operating Cost, and Investment Decision
