Abstract

The role of Information Systems and Information Technology which is very significant must be balanced with appropriate arrangements and management so that losses / threats that may occur can be avoided even able to be prevented. This study discusses the Monitoring and Evaluation of service management system to the students in "Bimbel No name" (BNn) Pringsewu. The purpose of this study is to study IT management in accordance with standard the Method of COBIT 4.1, making service management system infrastructure designs relevant to the operational activities of "Bimbel No name" (BNn) Pringsewu with standard the Method of COBIT 4.1, knowing and recommending improvements that are able to be implemented and can assess the maturity level. The method used in this study is a qualitative methodology while the data collection method is done by interviews and questionnaires that have been determined in accordance with the domain and Control Objective used. Audit speakers in BNn Pringsewu are teachers and students. The data analysis method was carried out in several stages, namely the determination of the domain, the determination of the control process, the determination of indicators and the mapping of the maturity level. Conducted research on 2 domains, 4 processes, and 23 activities (statements) obtained the highest gap user mark on DS10.3 activity (closing problem) with the mark of 1.32. And the highest management gap mark in ME2.6 activity (internal control on third parties) with a gap mark of 2, and not all process recommendations according to the Cobit 4.1 Method can be applied
