Abstract

Direct Cash Assistance is a government assistance program for all poor people in every village throughout Indonesia, including Gading Rejo village. However, during the distribution, some poor people did not receive it due to the lack of data accuracy. The purpose of this research is to create software that can help village officials to determine people who meet the criteria for receiving direct cash assistance correctly and accurately. The software was developed using the waterfall method which consists of 5 stages; communication, planning, modelling, construction, and modelling delivery and feedback. At the construction stage or coding, the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm was used as a tool in determining the right and accurate direct cash assistance recipient data. The result of this research is a website-based software for direct cash assistance recipients. Keywords: direct cash assistance, data processing system, K-Nearest Neighbor
