Abstract
ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to examine and prove empirically the effect of the corporate social responsibility disclosure and the implementation of the good corporate governance on the financial performance of the mining companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchanges. The independent variables used in this research were the corporate social responsibility disclosure with GRI-G4 as the indicator of this research and the implementation of the good corporate governance with the scoring assessment published by IICG. The dependent variable of this research was the company financial performance by using ROA. The type of this data was the secondary data in the form of the financial statements of companies published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014 - 2016. The data collecting technique used in this research was the purposive sampling data. The number of samples used in this research was 32 companies. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regression by using IBM SPSS version 20. The result of this research showed that the corporate social responsibility had an effect on the company financial performance; while, the corporate social responsibility had no effect on the company's financial performance.
