Abstract

Changes in climatic conditions that occur today bring many changes to human life. In addition to shifting changes in seasonal patterns, climate change also increases air temperature above its average which has an impact on sea level rise. The fastest sea level rise began in 2013 and reached its highest level in 2021. This is part of the ongoing global warming impact, where polar ice caps continue to melt, glaciers continue to melt, causing sea level rise. Sea level rise is closely related to tidal flooding, where the higher the tides, the more coastal areas close to the coast will be submerged in sea water. Tidal flooding is the rise and fall of tides as a result of the tidal phenomenon of sea water that causes inundation on the coast. There are several Kelurahans in the Bandar Lampung City area that have tidal flood vulnerability, namely Kangkung, Bumi Waras, and Sukaraja Villages. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, several important points are obtained, including the training configuration has been carried out 5 times resulting in a correlation value of 0.9 and above. During the data testing process, there were only 2 configurations whose performance increased, namely configurations 2 and 3. Configuration 3 had the best accuracy value reaching 100%, therefore configuration 3 was used as a model to predict tidal flooding events using data only available variables. When the sea level is 1.5 meters the percentage of flood events is 100%, while for waves when it is at 2.5 meters the percentage of tidal floods is 90-100%. For waves of 1.5 meters and below, the percentage of tidal flooding is quite small, at most, only 30%. The tidal flood prediction table can make it easier for forecasters or forecasters who are working. With the prediction of tidal flooding in the future, it can be used for making early warnings tomorrow, but the results of the prediction of tidal flooding are still quite a lot of stages that must be passed.
