Abstract
A number of students graduating annually showed an increasing trend so that there were difficulties in clustering a large number of student thesis data. To solve the problem, a smart system was needed to facilitate the student thesis data management. The method of this research was through the K-means clustering method used to cluster the student thesis titles seen on the students’ graduation year and the study programme. Furthermore, a website-based smart system was created through the data mining method to determine the student thesis titles. Besides, the system testing was also carried out through the black box testing method for performance, database, and functions of the system. The website-based smart system was designed to cluster the student thesis titles for the next semester so that it facilitated the users in searching for the student thesis titles properly according to its design and function.
