Abstract

Indonesia is a country where most of the population works as farmers and Pakcoy is a horticultural crop that is suitable for planting in Indonesia. Currently, land limitation is a problem that exists in the agricultural sector in Indonesia, but there is a concept commonly called the hydroponic planting method. One of the parameters required in hydroponic systems is the pH of the water which determines the acidity or basicity of a solution. The pH value affects the photosynthesis process of plants, so it is necessary to control the pH of the water solution to protect plants from damage. With the research of the water pH control system in hydroponic pakcoy plants based on NodeMCU ESP8266, it aims to be able to facilitate pH monitoring in pakcoy plants that use hydroponic planting methods and can provide solutions in monitoring water pH levels, and maximize pakcoy plants to grow better. By using a pH Meter sensor as a pH measuring parameter that is inserted into the water reservoir and there is a mini waterpump as a flowing pH Up / pH Down solution when the pH of the water reaches an inappropriate value of 6.5-7.0.
