Abstract

The Radisson Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in Bandar Lampung. As a strategic choice for conducting business, the Radisson Hotel possesses numerous important documents, such as licenses, corporate contracts, and other critical records currently archived manually and stored in the warehouse without document numbering. This manual archiving method leads to prolonged search times when documents are needed. Moreover, the existing documents are susceptible to manipulation since they have not been validated by the creator or a validator, leaving them open to potential misuse. This study aimed to develop an electronic archive information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to address the archiving needs of the Radisson Hotel and make archive searches more reliable and efficient. The outcomes of this study include an information system for managing incoming archives, outgoing archives, and license archives. The system features an archive request function that allows staff to request archives, which can then be confirmed by the admin and management. Additionally, there is a feature for confirming outgoing archives by the management or front office for submission. All of these processes can now be conducted online using a mobile-based system.
