Abstract

The firearms used by the public must be obtained with permission and requirements from the police. For that, there is a need for a licensing service that has been established according to standard operational procedures and must also include supervision of firearm use to prevent mistakes in their usage. On the other hand, the performance of members is very necessary to maximize the service to achieve the main goal of firearm user satisfaction. The goal to be achieved in this research is to analyze and explain the influence of licensing service and supervision on firearm user satisfaction at the Lampung Regional Police, as well as the role of member performance in moderating the licensing service and supervision on firearm user satisfaction at the Lampung Regional Police. The population in this study consists of all firearm users at the Lampung Regional Police, totaling 310 people, with a sample of 76 firearm users. The results of the research show that the licensing service variable has a significant effect on the satisfaction of firearm users at the Lampung Regional Police, the supervision variable has an insignificant effect on the satisfaction of firearm users at the Lampung Regional Police, the moderation variable of member performance does not strengthen the licensing service's effect on the satisfaction of firearm users at the Lampung Regional Police, and the moderation variable of member performance does not strengthen the supervision's effect on the satisfaction of firearm users at the Lampung Regional Police.
