Abstract

Information technology is an example of a rapidly growing technological product that can assist humans in processing data and presenting quality information. PT. MDD currently has an EDC management system which is done manually using working paper. This turned out to cause many problems, including the slow work process of technicians, poor management of EDC management and complaints from customers. Along with the above, to support its business needs, PT. MDD requires an EDC Management application. This research was conducted using field study methods and literature study. Field studies were carried out by making direct observations of the running system as well as conducting interviews with relevant users in charge of handling the EDC management system. Literature study is carried out by collecting library materials related to the EDC management system. The result of the research is an application of Electronic EDC Management Information System (e-Registration EDC Management System) which consists of two applications, namely Web Apps and Mobile Apps. Web Apps are built using the PHP 7.4 programming language with the CodeIgniter 3.1.10 framework and the MySQL database system, while Mobile Apps are built using the Android programming language. After the implementation process runs, PT. MDD can experience the benefits directly, namely that the EDC management process can take place faster and this has an impact on the better performance of PT MDD.
