Abstract

ABSTRACT DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF ZAKAT BERKAT (HEALTHY DECENT HOME SURVIVAL) USING THE TOPSIS METHOD (Case Study: National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Pesawaran Regency) by NEVO PRATAMA PUTRA nevopratama12@gmail.com Zakat is the fourth pillar of Islam which aims to purify wealth for every Muslim. The process of collecting and distributing zakat is currently managed by an agency called the Amil Zakat Agency which is spread in every region of Indonesia, including in Pesawaran Regency. Based on the results of interviews conducted with the BAZNAS of Pesawaran Regency, the results obtained were that at this time the distribution of zakat was carried out by considering the criteria for zakat recipients which were calculated in the conventional way by the Pesawaran Regency BAZNAS committee and also distributed in several periods according to the funds provided by the central BAZNAS . This allows for errors in the calculation and consideration of the decisions of the zakat recipients. Based on these problems, researchers developed a decision support system using system developer tools, namely UML consisting of Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams. The tools used in building the system are XAMPP as a webserver, PHP Myadmin as a database, and Sublime Editor as a code editor. The methods used in developing the system, namely the Waterfall Method and the TOPSIS Method are based on the concept where the best selected alternative not only has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution, but also has the longest distance from the negative ideal solution. The results of the decision support system built using the website, namely the process of data collection and data processing of BERKAT zakat aid recipients can be processed precisely and quickly, making it easy for mustahik to upload BERKAT zakat aid application proposals, process accuracy in ranking BERKAT zakat aid recipient data, and convenience in making a report on BERKAT zakat aid recipients as decision support material.
