Abstract
ix ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF JOB PROMOTION AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THEPERMANENT EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION AT HORISON HOTEL LAMPUNG By: DESWANDA ARDIKA NPM 141211085 The objectives of the study were to determine the effect of job promotion on the job satisfaction of the permanent employees of Horizon Hotel Lampung, to determine the effect of work motivation on job satisfaction of the permanent employees of the Horizon Hotel Lampung, and to determine the effect of job promotion and work motivation on the job satisfaction of permanent employees of the Horizon hotel Lampung. The type of research used in this research was the quantitative research using the associative method. The data source used was the primary data in the form of questionnaire results. The data collection methods used were field studies in the form of interviews and questionnaires. The population in this study was the permanent employees at the Horizon Hotel Lampung. The sampling method in this study used the saturated samplingtechnique with the sample of 81 respondents. The data analysiswas done using the multiple linear regression analysis tests and hypothesis testing was done using the t-test and f-test. The hypothesis testing partially produced the effect of job promotion and work motivation on job satisfaction of the permanent employees of the Horizon hotel Lampung. The hypothesis testing simultaneously resultedthat the effect of job promotion on job satisfaction in Horizon HotelLampung, the work motivation affected the job satisfaction of the permanent employees in Horizon Hotel Lampung and the work motivation on the job satisfaction of the permanent employeesHorizon HotelLampung.
