Abstract

EFFECT OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, PROFITABILITY AND LEVERAGE ON MARKET VALUE ADDED By: Astri Mustofa ABSTRACT The objective of the study was to prove the effect of the corporate social responsibility, profitability and leverage on the market value added. The population in this study was the sub-food and beverage sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2014-2017. This study used the sample of 10 food and beverage companies. The sampling in this study used the purposive sampling method. The methods used in this study were the descriptive statistics, the classic assumption test and the multiple regression test with SPSS version 20 as the analysis tool used with the confidence level of 95%. Based on the results of the testing and the discussion it can be concluded that the variable of the profitability affected the market value added, while the variables of leverage and corporate social responsibility did not affect the market value added.
