Abstract

ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF GUEST BOOK DATA PROCESSING ON PLN LTD Based on the results of a survey was conducted in Practical Work and Internship in PLN LTD Tanjung Karang. It stated that the process of guest book data that still used conventional guest book. The guest book of that survey consisted of cooperation, complaints, and customers. The method of this study used the waterfall method. This method carried out sequentially in accordance with the existing steps. The waterfall model provided the sequential software life cycle approach. It started from the analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance stages. The data collection was conducted by interview, observation and literature study. The implementation of this method was explained through system analysis, DFD and database table structure. In designing and creating, this study used Netbeans 7.1, the Java programming language, MySql database, and the Xampp webserver. The implementation of this study made PLN LTD easier to process guest book data in computerization. There was also advantages of this Information System. They was PLN LTD was able to reduce the stacking of guest agenda books and to facilitate the process of finding guest data effective and efficient. Keywords: PLN LTD, Java, MySql, Xampp
