Abstract

Expeditionary Service is an agency engaged in goods delivery services, where the delivery process is carried out with a specific destination according to the location point desired by the consumer. The survey results proved that some couriers had difficulty delivering goods to the consumer's location, the difficulty that happened was that the courier did not know the closest distance to the location of several consumers in delivering the goods. Based on the problems, an application system was needed to provide the courier with information about the location of the nearest consumer and the courier's route guide, so a method was applied to help solve the problem. One of the algorithms that could find the shortest time was the greedy algorithm. This research produced an application to help couriers in finding the location of the closest consumer in the delivery process by applying the greedy algorithm method. The Black Box testing was carried out with several test components including: Device 1 with android version 8.0, Device 2 with android version 9.0 and Device 3 with android version 10. All test components were successfully carried out, what distinguishes was the application display of each device. Keywords: Greedy, Expedition, Black Box Testing, Mobile
