Abstract

ABSTRACT GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM OF CHURCH LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES IN BANDAR LAMPUNG BASED ON WEB AND SMS GATEWAY By : DickyRianto 1211050046 Along with the development of technology, the use of information is increasingly needed. With fastin formation, thus, it can help us to get what we need. Places of worship are important things that must be in every city. Places of worship are important things that must be placed in every city. These places of worship were built to meet the spiritual need so freligious people to carry out their obligations to worship God Almighty .All this time the search for locations of places of worship, particularly for Christian churches, is still done manually by looking at maps or asking residents for the location of the place of worship. To overcome this problem, the authors built a system that can help overcome the obstacles to finding the location of the Church in Bandar Lampungbycreating a web-based system, which this system used thewaterfall method, digitizing data retrieval, observation methods, literature reviews, and using MySQL as a database, therefore, the web users can search for the location of churches in the vicinity. They will receive information about activities in the church through the SMS Gateway method. This Geographic Information System for Church Locations and Activities in Bandar Lampung based on Web and SMS Gateway is expected to provide more information assistance to the community at large about the location and information in the church in Bandar Lampung.
