Abstract

Abstract: It is universally recognized that a repository is a collection and management medium such as research papers, data, reports, patents, and software by compiling different types of research results for immediate access and long-term preservation), but they are only one interacting system. Dedicated research databases are used not only for research results but also for human resources, project management, finance, grant funding, and research expertise. Building an institutional eprint repository (IR) functionality into the University system is explained in the context of user demands to reduce data input to the Current Research Repository System (CRIS), which includes an organization's research activities through the use of and usability of its eprint system. Therefore, the repository can benefit from the data schema. This article discusses the implementation of an institutional eprint repository (IR) data system.
