Abstract
ABSTRACT DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SELECTING THE BEST EMPLOYEES USING THE SMART METHOD AT CV LAUT SELATAN JAYA By YOYON ZULIANSYAH 1611050043 Work evaluationis a written assessment that describes the functions, duties, respon sibilities, authority, working conditions, and other specific aspect soft work for a particular job position. CV Laut Selatan Jaya is a company that sells cosmetics to individuals and stores both in cash and on credit. The company has approximately 30 employees. Currently, CV Laut Selatan Jaya does not have the best employee evaluation system. The selection of the best employees is not based on evaluation but on the recommendation of superiors, regardless of experience or length of service, thereforeit is not optimal in its implementation because the decision to select the best employees is still based on superiors and only directly selecting employees with out evaluation, thus the risk of employees who are unable to perform the work receiving recognition is greater. The method of developing the system uses the Extreme Programming method and the system design uses UML. The implementation of this system uses PHP and MySQL as the data base, and the system testing uses the black box method. The results achieved are a decision support system for evaluating the best employees using the SMART method as a model for determining the value of each alternative. In the system being developed, the HR department can manage criteria data such as inputting attendance data, employee behavior, and employee service time, which will then beautomatically counted for evaluation using the SMART method. The advantage of the best employee evaluation system to be developed is that it can display employee evaluation data such as rankings of employee evaluations who be comethe best employees.
