Abstract
ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE (Empirical Study on Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022) By: ZHAKI AHMAD RIDHO 1912120040 Email: zakiar.912120040@mail.darmajaya.ac.id The purpose of this study was to empirically prove whether Good Corporate Governance (institutional ownership, board of commissioners, managerial ownership, and audit committee) has effects of financial performance. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data namely data obtained in the form of numbers, or numbers which will later be used to test data analyze data and solve problems that occur. The data used in this research is secondary data which comes from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses quantitative research, namely using statistics by testing multiple regression. The results of this study found that partially institutional ownership has a negative effect on financial performance, while the board of commissioners, managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, in testing the board of commissioners has no effect on financial performance in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2022.
