Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) represents a company’s commitment to supporting sustainable development for both society and the environment. In accordance with Law No. 40 of 2007 Article 74, CSR is a mandatory obligation for companies operating in the natural resources sector, including PT Bukit Asam Tbk Pelabuhan Tarahan. This company implements its CSR initiatives through a Community Development (Hukmas) approach, which covers socio-economic, educational, and religious aspects. However, the current method of submitting and selecting CSR fund recipients is still manual, which hampers efficiency and slows down the process. This study aims to develop a web-based information system to facilitate and enhance the effectiveness of CSR fund application and selection processes. The system enables the public to submit proposals online and supports the company in fairly and objectively evaluating and selecting beneficiaries. The research results indicate that the designed system improves the speed and integration of CSR processes across departments. Future development may include automated approval features and broader outreach to potential beneficiaries beyond the company’s immediate operational areas.
