Abstract

ABSTRACT INFORMATION SYSTEM OF RAUDHOTUL JANNAH SIDOKERTO ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL BASED ON MOBILE WEB By : Vena Puspa Pangestu E-mail venapuspapangestu@gmail.com The Raudhotul Jannah Sidokerto Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic boarding school foundation in Sidokerto Village, Bumiratu Nuban District, Central Lampung, founded in 2008 with a current number of 650 students. Searching for information, registration, entrance tests, and online exams is still impractical because all activities are done manually, whereas prospective students seek registration information by visiting Islamic boarding schools or through distributed brochures. The research objective is to build an information system for the Raudhotul Jannah Sidokerto Islamic Boarding School based on a mobile web. The system development method used is the prototype with the stages of interaction with the user, making prototypes, testing prototypes, repairing prototypes, and evaluating prototypes. Data collectional using interviews, observation and literature study. The design system uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) with stages: Usecase, Activity, Sequence, and Class Diagrams. In analyzing business processes at the Raudhotul Jannah Sidokerto Islamic Boarding School, the authors design the input process and output using Dreamweaver. In contrast, programming languages use PHP, MySql database, and Xampp web server. The research results created a website that can be used to provide information on registration, promotion and location of Islamic boarding schools.
