Abstract

ABSTRACT DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED STUDENT EXAM INFORMATION SYSTEM AT MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH MASYARIQUL ANWAR By: BETHANIA ANDANI 2011050079 Email: bethaniaandani14@gmail.com At Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masyariqul Anwar, the student examination process is still not effective and efficient because it uses a paper-based conventional method, which results in additional costs and constraints in the management and storage of physical documents that are vulnerable to the risk of damage or loss. In addition, teacher manual assessment is time-consuming and inefficient and risks data input errors that can affect the accuracy of the evaluation. this research aims to improve the development of information technology at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masyariqul Anwar. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masyariqul Anwar needs a system that can carry out the process, namely a web-based student exam system. The student exam system development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD) which consists of the Needs Plan stage, Workshop Design and Implementation. The design is done by using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) which is made in the PHP language, by utilizing Bootstrap to design it. The result of this research was a system that can conduct student exams and provide information on the results of student exams as well as create downloadable exam reports, thus supporting a more efficient and accurate evaluation process.
