Abstract
Fluffy Crochet is a business operating in the field of handmade crafts, specifically crochet, that has been running since 2022. However, the lack of awareness and knowledge among people about this business has hindered its progress. This is, of course, unfortunate news. The purpose of the research was to create or design a visual element for a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME), specifically a mascot, to build brand awareness for the business. This study utilized qualitative data collection techniques, including interviews, observations, and literature reviews, to investigate and process the data. Based on the background, Fluffy Crochet requires a solution to this problem, which is the design of a mascot. The choice of a mascot as a solution was supported by several journals indicating that visual elements were more appealing and favored by people, making the use of visuals like mascots more effective in attracting potential customers. In addition to being a visual element of the brand, the mascot can also convey messages and the image of the brand it represents. This indicates that a well-designed mascot will have characteristics and uniqueness that align with the brand, making it easier for the public to remember, identify, and recognize which brand is represented by the mascot, thus aligning with the concept of brand awareness.
