Abstract
This study aims to explore the impact of providing additional employee income (TPP) on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Trade Office of Bandar Lampung City. TPP is considered a form of incentive that has the potential to improve the performance of ASN in facing high workloads and the increasing demands for public service quality. In addition, decentralization and regional autonomy policies have expanded the responsibilities of civil servants, while the imbalance between workload and compensation has caused dissatisfaction and a decline in employee performance.This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive and causal approach. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews with 73 civil servants who served as respondents. The independent variable is the employee income supplement (TPP) with indicators such as workload, work performance, working conditions, competence, and work discipline. The dependent variable is the performance of ASN, measured through work quality, knowledge, independence, initiative, and reliability. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression tests to measure the strength of the influence of TPP on ASN performance, as well as validity and reliability tests to ensure the accuracy of the measuring instrument.The results of this study are expected to provide deep insights into the effectiveness of TPP provision in enhancing ASN motivation and productivity. Additionally, this research can serve as a basis for formulating more effective policies to sustainably improve ASN performance, including refining a fair and competitive compensation system, and considering other factors that may play a role in enhancing the quality of public services.
