Abstract

ABSTRACT E-Memo Information System at the Department of Public Works and Construction of Lampung Province By: Mulia Ekawati Email: Muliaekawati08@gmail.com E-Memo (Electronic Memo) is a platform for sending and receiving letters, messages, files, and images digitally through the internet. In the government environment, particularly at the Department of Public Works and Construction of Lampung Province, correspondence processes are still carried out manually using paper, which is then delivered to each division and recorded in an incoming mail logbook. This manual process is inefficient and time-consuming. To address this issue, a web-based E-Memo information system was developed to facilitate faster, more accurate, and effective correspondence management. The development method used in this research is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). The results of the study show that the system is capable of managing various correspondence tasks, such as creating new memos, managing sent memos, incoming memos, rejected memos, and memo validation. This system enables the department to handle administrative processes digitally, thereby increasing work efficiency and reducing paper usage.
