Abstract
Recent advances in information technology have accelerated digitalization in various service sectors, including wedding decoration. Abun Wedding Decoration still faces challenges in order management and service search due to manual processes, resulting in errors and delays. This study designs and develops a web-based ordering and service search system. It utilized the Boyer-Moore algorithm for string matching to enhance data search efficiency. The research used the Waterfall software development model with steps: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system offered user registration, login, product search, ordering, checkout, payment confirmation, and management of customer, product, vendor, and transaction data. System functionality was checked by Black-Box Testing. The Boyer-Moore algorithm was tested for efficient keyword-based product search. The results demonstrated that all system features operate according to requirements, including the capability of the Boyer-Moore algorithm to accurately retrieve relevant products based on search keywords. The system also generates order histories and transaction reports automatically, supporting more structured and efficient data management. Therefore, the system enhances the effectiveness of service operations at Abun Wedding Decoration and serves as a relevant digitalization solution for the wedding decoration service industry.
