Abstract
Technological advances have emerged with various innovations in the learning process, currently, students can study online by subscribing to online tutoring. The population in this study was high school students in Bandar Lampung with a sample of 100 samples. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The methods of data analysis in this study used the Cochran Q Test. The result in this study indicated that the most dominant affecting factors of student interest in using the Ruangguru application were obtained in 13 questions namely, because of the opinions/advice from parents and family (2), information about up to date material (3), has a 24-hour question and answer consultation service (6), more practical and faster in working on various kinds of questions (7), easily accessible applications (8), in collaboration with many schools and educational institutions (9), the learning process can be done anywhere and anytime (10), because of the Covid-19 epidemic which made me unable to go to school to study (13), it can increase my grades in ASI (16), the promotion of discounted prices for both old and new users (17), the advertisement is interesting(18), preparing for school exams (19), having appropriate learning methods (20). Of the 13 attributes, there are the most dominant factors in determining student interest in using the Ruangguru application in Bandar Lampung who answered Yes as many as 83 respondents related to the Teacher Room application which is more practical and faster in working on various kinds of questions.
