Abstract

ABSTRACT ELECTRONIC EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT (E-RECRUITMENT) INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PT GARDA SAMUDERA INDONESIA By ARIF FADILLAH PT. Garda Samudera Indonesia, through its Human Resouces Department, recruits the candidate of the employee that implements a conventional method. As a result, it requires some time to make the selection. Further, in disseminating its job vacancies, this company did not include all the necessary information, so the applicants do not know the requirement. Additionally, there is an issue in schedulling the interview process that is also quite time-consuming. It makes the company take a relatively long time to decide which employee is hired. Likewise, it makes prospective employees wait longer to hear their application status. The purpose of building this system is to simplify the process of inputting registration, file selection, exams, schedule information and employee recruitment results in this company. The system was developed using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) method that described using Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, input-output designs, database designs, data dictionaries, and application menu designs. The result is a new system design, which can produce the required information effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the development of E-Recruitment Information System data at PT. Garda Samudera Indonesia can make it easier for the HR department to accept new employees. Besides, this system can speed up the process of recruiting new employees, facilitates the dissemination of information on job vacancies and their requirements, and job acceptance status to yield fast test results.
